The Stability of Mental Health During War: Survey Data from Ukraine

Identifying psychological resources that can protect against the impact of war on mental health is an important endeavor. The aim of this study was to determine the stability of correlations between positive and negative indicators of mental health in a sample of Ukrainian citizens during the ongoing war, and to assess possible gender differences. A total of 359 respondents aged 18–61 from all regions of Ukraine completed self-reported surveys at two time points eight months apart (June–July 2022 and February–March 2023). Surveys included three scales reflecting positive aspects of mental health (resilience, self-efficacy, and hardiness) and two reflecting negative aspects (PTSD symptoms and pressure of physical complaints). Significant negative correlations (r values ranged from −.23 to −.47; p < .001) between two positive indicators (resilience and self-efficacy) and the two negative indicators remained practically unchanged over the eight-month period. These relationships were almost equally stable in men and women. Findings expand current knowledge on the consequences of war for mental health and highlight resilience and self-efficacy as potential protective factors against the deterioration of civilian mental health during war.

Cluster Analysis of the Positive and Negative Indicators of Complete Mental Health State Model

&lt;p&gt;本研究目的在了解正負向指標篩檢心理健康型態集群分佈情形，是否符合Keyes主張以主觀幸福感與憂鬱症狀雙指標區分的完整心理健康模式。研究設計以心理健康BMI幸福感問卷、病人健康狀況憂鬱問卷，做為正負向指標篩檢工具，架構完整心理健康模式；以問卷調查法立意取樣739份樣本，經群集分析法作統計分群。結果能區分出有意義的四群集，包括擁有高幸福低憂鬱之完整圓滿心理健康型態的「心盛型」群集（46.28%）、不完整心理健康型態三個群集:「冷靜型」（低幸福低憂鬱之不完整心理亞健康型態，31.94%）、「奮戰型」（高幸福高憂鬱之不完整心理健康型態，11.10%）、「混沌型」（低幸福高憂鬱之不完整心理健康型態，10.69%）。低憂鬱者佔全體 78.22%，其中59.17%擁有高幸福而處於完整圓滿心理健康型態；高憂鬱者佔全體21.78%，其中50.93%擁有高幸福感。驗證了幸福感、憂鬱傾向作為正負向心理健康指標，篩檢完整或不完整心理健康型態。建議:（1）高憂鬱者參照「奮戰型」這群人高幸福感來源，藉由參與社團獲得人際支持、找到工作及收入來增加自我價值感；（2）「冷靜型」不能單看低憂鬱的心理健康篩檢，需提升「友善人際支持 正念情緒平穩 認同自我價值意義」之正向心理健康BMI幸福感，以獲得完整心理健康；（3）未來研究可依據正負向心理健康指標去發展心理健康素養能力，作為心理健檢與自主管理完整心理健康之用。&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This study aimed to understand the cluster distribution of positive and negative indicators for screening mental health patterns and whether they conform to Keyes’ claim that positive and negative indicators should be included in the complete mental health state model. The positive mental health indicators included social, emotional, and psychological well-being, which should be measured using the Mental Health Continuum Short Form (MHC-SF). Negative indicators measure the level of symptoms of mental illness concurrently, serving as a complete assessment of whether the individual is in a healthy state of positive and negative mental health indicators. Keyes employed these to distinguish four clusters of people with four mental health modes, of which the incomplete mental health cluster was in the state. Even if they have a negative mental illness, they could have positive mental health and well-being. Although some people do not have negative mental illness, they cannot have positive mental health and well-being. Therefore, Taiwanese scholar Li corresponded to these three well-being developments and selected three operational mental health skills: &amp;quot;&amp;quot;Befriend-Mindfulness-Identity&amp;quot;&amp;quot; as the Mental Health BMI Well-Being Index questionnaire (mBMI). After using them to evaluate 739 people, it was evident that the scores of the above two questionnaires were significantly correlated, and the mBMI questionnaire total score and Questions B, M, and I could effectively predict the total score, social, emotional, and psychological well-being of the MHC-SF, with a total explanatory power of 30.3%. This test should be used as a simple screening for well-being and as a positive mental health screening tool. Additionally, a Depression Scale Screening Tool for Negative Mental Health Depression was combined to explore the complete mental health state model of Taiwanese people. &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt; Therefore, in this study, the mBMI questionnaire was selected as a simple tool to measure positive mental health well-being, and the patients&amp;rsquo; health questionnaire for depression was used as a screening tool for negative mental health indicators. These are used as positive and negative indicators to test whether a complete or incomplete mental health state model fits. The questionnaire survey method was used to deliberately sample the data from 739 valid samples, and the cluster analysis method was used for statistical grouping to verify its suitability. According to the results of the aforementioned positive and negative indicators, four meaningful clusters were distinguished, including one complete and three incomplete mental health models. One cluster was &amp;quot;&amp;quot;Flourishing type&amp;quot;&amp;quot;(46.28%) of high well-being and low depression, which belonged to the complete mental health state model. The other three clusters were incomplete mental health state models. &amp;quot;&amp;quot;Fighting type&amp;quot;&amp;quot; (31.94%) of high well-being and high depression, &amp;quot;&amp;quot;Calm type&amp;quot;&amp;quot; (11.10%) of low well-being and low depression, and &amp;quot;&amp;quot;Chaos type&amp;quot;&amp;quot; (10.69%) of low well-being and high depression could fight for high well-being. It was verified that well-being and depression could be used as positive and negative mental health indicators to screen for complete or incomplete mental health state models. When we identified people with high depression, we encouraged them to refer to the source of high well-being of the &amp;quot;&amp;quot;fighting type&amp;quot;&amp;quot; group and increase their sense of self-worth by participating in clubs to obtain interpersonal support, find jobs, and earn income. We reminded the &amp;quot;&amp;quot;calm type&amp;quot;&amp;quot; people with low depression to promote their high well-being to have a complete mental health state. Finally, we monitored positive and negative indicators of mental health using screening tools of the Mental Health BMI Well-Being Index and the Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9) to screen for complete or incomplete mental health states as a reference for promoting positive and negative mental health. The befriend-mindfulness-identity skills should be improved to promote well-being and adjust depression to achieve complete mental health.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

Using Principal Component Analysis to Explore the Influence of Civic Education on Students’ Mental Health in Colleges and Universities

Abstract This paper first explored the implementation steps of principal component analysis, standardized the raw data, and calculated the correlation matrix, eigenvalues and variance contribution ratio. The principal components were identified, the principal component factors were thoroughly evaluated, and the comprehensive scores of the principal components were calculated. Then, the model of this paper was examined, and the principal component factors were extracted using the algorithm. Finally, the analysis of the correlation between Civic Education and Mental Health, as well as the predictive effect of Curriculum Civic Education on the level of cultural self-confidence and mental health were analyzed. The results show that the correlation coefficient between curriculum civic politics and happiness is 7.45. Curriculum civic politics is significantly positively correlated with all positive mental health indicators, r between 0.3-0.4, p&lt;0.01, and with negative mental health indicators, r between −0.4-0.37, p&lt;0.01. This study is important for the active promotion of curriculum civic politics and the enhancement of parenting effectiveness. Promoting the development of college students’ mental health is of great significance.

The relationship between physical activity and mental health: Is more always better?

The current study was designed to examine the relationship between physical activity and mental health. We investigated whether individuals who perceive themselves as physically inactive, recreationists, or active athletes differ in positive (positive affect, subjective well-being, unconditional self-acceptance) and negative mental health outcomes (depression, anxiety, stress, negative affect, conditional self-acceptance). Furthermore, we investigated whether the total level of leisure-time physical activity predicted different mental health indicators. Analysis revealed that physically active respondents (recreationists and active athletes) seem to have better overall mental health status than physically inactive ones. Precisely, physically inactive individuals scored higher on all measures of negative mental health indicators, and lower on all measures of positive mental health indicators, compared with the participants from the two other groups. At the same time, there were no significant differences in these measures between recreationists and active athletes. Besides, a positive association was found between the weekly frequency of leisure-time activity and only two positive indicators of mental health (positive affect and subjective well-being)of all tested. The obtained results suggest that it is often more relevant for mental health whether someone is physically active or not, in general, than how frequently they exercise.

Risk and protective factors of mental health in children in residential care: A nationwide study from Luxembourg

BackgroundChildren who grow up in residential care are at high risk for mental health problems. Existing studies have focused on negative mental health indicators and risk factors. There has been less emphasis on identifying protective factors, particularly those associated with positive mental health outcomes. ObjectiveThis study explores positive and negative dimensions of mental health and their links to risk and protective factors in children who have experienced early adversity and trauma and have been placed in residential care. Participants and settingsChildren aged 11 to 18 (N = 264) were recruited from residential care homes in Luxembourg, a small, high-income European country. MethodsThe children completed self-report questionnaires on mental health, perceived stress, school pressure, and participation. Residential care workers provided information on demographic factors, developmental and care history, and pre-care experiences of early adversity and trauma. ResultsConfirmatory factor analysis indicated that subjective well-being, internalising problems, and externalising problems are separate yet interconnected components of mental health. Multiple Indicators Multiple Causes models showed that individual, contextual, and psychosocial predictors contribute differentially to positive and negative mental health outcomes. ConclusionsUsing a national sample of children in residential care in Luxembourg, this research indicates that subjective well-being, internalising problems, and externalising problems are distinct but related aspects of mental health. ‘Child participation’ and ‘school pressure’ displayed strong links with positive mental health outcomes and may serve as a potential path for improving public health interventions for children in care.

The association between adult attachment and problematic Internet use: A three-level meta-analysis

Background and aimsProblematic Internet use (PIU; generalized PIU and specific PIU) is an emerging public health issue associated with various negative mental health indicators. Adult attachment, which refers to individuals' views of the self and others in intimate relationships, has been found to be an important factor related to PIU in both theoretical and empirical studies. Although a few systematic reviews and meta-analyses have reported an association between attachment and specific PIU (i.e., problematic social networking sites, and problematic smartphone use), there are some limitations. Based on the PRISMA method, the current study examined the associations between adult attachment and general PIU and specific PIU using a three-level meta-analysis approach. MethodsIn total, the present study identified 82 studies, with 66456 adults and 289 effect sizes after a systematic literature search for articles published before January 2023. ResultsThe analysis revealed that insecure attachment was positively correlated with PIU, while secure attachment was negatively correlated with PIU. Moreover, moderator analyses showed that the association between adult attachment and PIU was moderated by attachment style, measurement of attachment, and measurement of PIU. Discussion and conclusionsIt is clear that insecure attachment is an important risk factor for PIU. Therefore, it is imperative to prevent and intervene in young adults’ experiences of attachment insecurity as well as especially provide extra support for those young adults who have experienced such attachment anxiety.

Psychological Well-Being and Mental Health in Youth: Technical Adequacy of the Comprehensive Inventory of Thriving.

Well-being is a crucial construct in young people's lives that directly affects their overall quality of life, academic performance, and social relationships. Although there is an emphasis on the significance of positive psychological states in mental health, few have focused on positive states, and psychological well-being is often conceptualized using negative indicators of mental health. The present study aims to fill the gap in the literature by testing the reliability and validity of the Turkish version of the Comprehensive Inventory of Thriving for Youth (CIT-Y) and exploring the relationship between psychological well-being and mental health problems among Turkish young people. The study involved 459 youths from a state elementary school in a city in Türkiye, with 48.8% (224 females and 235 males) of them being female and aged between 11 and 15 years (M = 12.85, SD = 0.73). Findings from the study suggest that the CIT-Y is a reliable and valid measure for assessing psychological well-being in Turkish young people. Additionally, the results show that young people with internalizing and externalizing problems report fewer positive psychological states compared to those without such problems. This emphasizes the significance of well-being domains, including loneliness and respect, in comprehending mental health issues among young people. These findings can aid mental health providers in designing interventions to enhance the psychosocial adjustment of students by providing resources to cultivate mental health and well-being.

Cumulative Risk and Mental Health of Left-behind Children in China: A Moderated Mediation Model

Based on the dual-factor model of mental health (DFM) and the cumulative risk (CR) model, this study aimed to investigate the impact of CR on left-behind children's mental health and the underlying mechanism involved, specifically the mediating role of coping style and the moderating role of gratitude in the relationship between CR and mental health. The random cluster sampling method was applied to collect data on CR, coping style, gratitude, life satisfaction, and depression from 705 left-behind children (374 boys, Mage = 12.20 ± 1.25). The moderated mediation analyses indicated that: (1) the moderated mediation model of CR and depression was significant: coping style mediated the relationship between CR and depression, and gratitude moderated this mediating effect with gratitude strengthening the negative association between CR and coping style; and (2) gratitude moderated the relationship between CR and life satisfaction and it also strengthened the negative association between CR and life satisfaction. The findings suggest that the mechanisms of coping style may differ in the relationships between CR and positive and negative indicators of mental health in left-behind children and that gratitude as a protective factor has limited capacity to buffer the negative effect of accumulated risk. These findings provide evidence for differentiated intervention approaches to promote disadvantaged children's life satisfaction and depression.

Turning to Religion During COVID-19 (Part II): A Systematic Review, Meta-analysis and Meta-regression of Studies on the Relationship between Religious Coping and Mental Health throughout COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic and the many associated socio-economic changes constitute a stressful event that required adaptation to new, dynamic, and often threatening conditions. According to the literature, coping strategies are one of the factors that determine a person’s degree of adaptation to stressful situations. A systematic review and meta-analysis was performed on the relationship between religious coping and selected indicators of mental health. Due to the large amount of data, this work has been divided into two parts: Part I discussed the positive mental health indicators (Pankowski & Wytrychiewicz-Pankowska, 2023), while this Part II discusses negative mental health indicators. A systematic review of the databases of Science Direct, EBSCO, Cochrane, PubMed, and Google Scholar identified 33 articles related to the severity of depressive symptoms: 30 to anxiety, 23 to stress, 1 related to PTSD symptoms and peritraumatic stress, and 5 related to general negative mental health. The limitations of the research as well as further directions for exploration are discussed.Clinical trial registration This Review was pre-registered at OSF: osf.io/54ygr (https://doi.org/10.17605/OSF.IO/GMNFV).

Turning to Religion During COVID-19 (Part I): A Systematic Review, Meta-analysis and Meta-regression of Studies on the Relationship Between Religious Coping and Mental Health Throughout COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic and the many associated socio-economic changes constitute a stressful event that required adaptation to new, dynamic, and often threatening conditions. According to the literature, coping strategies are one of the factors that determine a person’s degree of adaptation to stressful situations. A systematic review and meta-analysis was performed on the relationship between religious coping and selected indicators of mental health. Due to the large amount of data, this work has been divided into two parts: this first part discusses positive mental health indicators, while the second discusses negative mental health indicators (Pankowski & Wytrychiewicz-Pankowska, 2023). A systematic review of PubMed, Science Direct, the Cochrane Library, Google Scholar, the Database of s of Reviews of Effects, and Google Scholar databases was carried out. In addition to the synthesis of information obtained from the research, a meta-analysis of correlation was also performed to determine the strengths of the relationships between the analysed variables, and selected moderators were assessed using meta-regression. Quality of life, well-being, satisfaction with life, happiness, and post-traumatic growth were the positive mental health indicators considered. Meta-analyses indicated a statistically significant relationship between positive religious coping and flourishing (well-being) with overall correlation values of 0.35 [0.30; 0.40]. Further calculations also indicated a relationship between negative religious coping and flourishing − 0.25 [− 0.34; − 0.15]. Data synthesis shows associations between religious coping and such indicators as satisfaction with life and post-traumatic growth, but these issues require further investigation.

Mental health and life satisfaction in East and West Germany: Effects of generation and migration of citizens.

The reunification of Germany after the separation between 1949 and 1990 has offered a unique chance of studying the impact of socialization, political transformation, and migration on mental health. The purpose of this article was to compare mental distress, resources, and life satisfaction (1) between residents of East and West Germany and migrants who have fled from East to West Germany before reunification and (2) between three generations. We assessed anxiety, depression, resilience, self-esteem, and life satisfaction, comparing groups based on their residency and migration, as well as three different birth cohorts. Using a representative survey of 2006, analyses of variance show the differences between these groups. Based on a representative survey (N = 4,530), the effects of gender (53.6% women), residency/migration (74.4% grown up in the West, 20.4% in the East, 5.3% migrants from the East to the West) from three generations (32% born until 1945, 39% until 1967, and 29% to 1989), and positive and negative mental health indicators were analyzed. Women reported higher distress and lower resilience. Residents of the Western states reported the lowest burden of distress (depressive and anxiety symptoms) and the highest overall life satisfaction, exceeding residents from the Eastern states and migrants from the Eastern to the Western states. Migrants from the Eastern to the Western states, however, reported the lowest resilience and self-esteem. They reported lower satisfaction with income, living conditions (compared to the Western residents), and the lowest levels of satisfaction with family (compared to East and West). Overall, our data point to inequalities between the Eastern and Western states regarding mental health 16 years after reunification favoring the residents of the Western states by lower distress and life satisfaction. Our data attest to the stresses and adjustments associated with migration from the Eastern to the Western states before reunification. A lower level of mental health and life satisfaction in the oldest generation may be related to the sequelae of World War II and also to aging.

Mental Health Among Sexual and Gender Minority Youth Incarcerated in Juvenile Corrections.

This study examined differences by sexual and gender minority (SGM) and incarceration statuses in mental health indicators among youth. Population-based, cross-sectional data are from the 2019 Minnesota Student Survey (N = 72 324) and includes public school students (Mage = 15.49) and youth incarcerated in juvenile correctional facilities (Mage = 15.48). We categorized youth into 4 groups: (1) non-SGM youth in public schools, (2) non-SGM youth in correctional facilities, (3) SGM youth in public schools, and (4) SGM youth in correctional facilities. Multivariable regression models assessed associations among SGM and incarceration statuses and mental health indicators after controlling for sociodemographic characteristics and exposure to adverse childhood experiences. More youth in juvenile correctional facilities identified as SGM (28.8%) compared with youth in public schools (20.4%, P = .002). SGM youth in correctional facilities reported a higher prevalence of suicidal ideation (42.2%), suicide attempt (37.5%), and self-harm (57.8%) compared with all other groups. Depressive symptom severity was similarly elevated among SGM youth in correctional facilities and SGM youth in public schools. SGM youth in correctional facilities, compared with non-SGM youth in public schools, demonstrated elevated odds of suicide ideation (adjusted odds ratio [aOR] = 2.2, 95% confidence interval [95% CI] = 1.3-3.9), suicide attempt (aOR = 6.3, 95% CI = 3.6-10.9), and self-harm (aOR = 3.6, 95% CI = 2.1-6.3). Incarcerated SGM youth disproportionately experience negative mental health indicators. Findings suggest that tailored, intersectional, and responsive mental health interventions are needed to support incarcerated SGM youth.

The relationship between adult attachment and mental health: A meta-analysis.

Attachment theory provides a framework for understanding the correlations among interpersonal relationships, stress, and health. Moreover, adult attachment is an important predictor of mental health. However, there is a lack of systematic reviews that simultaneously examine the associations between adult attachment and both positive and negative indicators of mental health. Consequently, we meta-analyzed 224 studies examining the associations between adult attachment and mental health, using robust variance estimation with random effects. The results (k = 245 samples, N = 79,722) showed that higher levels of attachment anxiety and avoidance were positively correlated with negative affect (e.g., depression, anxiety, loneliness) and they were negatively correlated with positive affect (e.g., life satisfaction, self-esteem). More specifically, there were moderate associations between attachment avoidance and negative mental health (r = .28) and positive mental health (r = -.24). Likewise, there were moderate associations between attachment anxiety and negative mental health (r = .42) and positive mental health (r = -.29). Furthermore, the association between the attachment dimensions and mental health outcomes was also moderated by several variables (e.g., gender, age). Finally, these associations remained statistically significant even when the attachment dimensions were mutually controlled using meta-analytic structural equation modeling. Overall, attachment anxiety had larger associations with mental health than did attachment avoidance. Thus, the current results support robust links between adult attachment and mental health. Parental Autonomy Support and Mental Health among Chinese Adolescents and Emerging Adults: The Mediating Role of Self-Esteem.

Guided by the dual-factor model and self-determination theory, this study explored the relationship between parental autonomy support and mental health (i.e., life satisfaction and emotional problems) in adolescents and emerging adults, with a focus on the mediating role of self-esteem. We conducted two studies among independent samples in China, including 1617 adolescents aged 10 to 17 years (Mage =12.79, SD = 1.63; 50.7% girls; Study 1) and 1274 emerging adults aged 17 to 26 years (Mage = 20.31, SD = 1.63; 56.6% women; Study 2). All participants completed a set of self-reported questionnaires. The results of both studies validated our hypothesis; specifically, parental autonomy support was positively associated with life satisfaction, but negatively associated with emotional problems (emotional symptoms in Study 1 and depressive symptoms in Study 2). Meanwhile, self-esteem partially mediated the positive relationship between parental autonomy support and life satisfaction (R2 = 0.33 in Study 1; R2 = 0.38 in Study 2), and partially mediated the negative relationship between parental autonomy support and emotional problems (R2 = 0.16 in Study 1; R2 = 0.42 in Study 2). In summary, this suggests that the common antecedents of positive and negative indicators of mental health addressed in this study are prevalent in adolescents and emerging adults. These findings have important implications for preventive and interventional efforts aimed at mental health problems in both demographics.

The meaning of resilience in adulthood

The aim of this article is to present an extensive description of resilience in adulthood in the modern times. Taking into account resilience’s definition problems, the differences and similarities between the concepts of resilience and resiliency were taken into account. The article discusses a broad definition of resilience, referring to many scientific perspectives. The conclusion is drawn that resilience should be conceptualized as a dynamic process. The meta-analysis of the relationships between the factors indicates the presence of many factors directly and indirectly related to the resilience, but only some of them are characterized by strong scientific evidence.The article reviews the literature on the importance of selected factors of resilience, especially in the context of adulthood and contemporary challenges. In the presented considerations, the mental health topic in the period of SARS-CoV-2 virus and the consequences of the global COVID pandemic in the world-wide population context should claim our attention. The wide social-economic crisis experience, as well as the high level of anxiety level that comes along society, prompts us to continue searching for resources that will act as protective factors. The ongoing war In Ukraine is also not without significance, as it leaves its mark on the daily mental functioning of both, refugees, witnesses, and individuals, who provide selfless help.The article aims to discuss the importance of resilience in adulthood in the context of health, pointing to a negative relationship with negative mental health indicators, a positive relationship with positive mental health indicators, and a relationship between resilience and personality traits. In the considerations on resilience importance, the ability of emotional disengagement, patterns of physiological reactions and the comparison of resilience to the somatic immune system were discussed. The aim of this article is also to indicate the cognitive component, namely the cognitive resilience. In this regard, the relationship between immunity and cognitive functions was discussed on the basis of experimental studies.

Opening the black box of the relationship between neighborhood socioeconomic status and mental health: Neighborhood social-interactive characteristics as contextual mechanisms.

Previous studies have linked low neighborhood socioeconomic status (NSES) to mental health problems. However, few studies have investigated the mechanisms underlying this association and most focused on the association with negative indicators of mental health, such as symptoms of depression or anxiety. This paper investigated whether neighborhood social characteristics (social interaction, trust, safety, organization participation, and attachment) mediate the association between NSES and mental health. We combined Danish register data with survey data from the North Denmark Region Health Survey 2017. Mental health was assessed with the Rand 12-item Short-form Survey (SF-12). The sample consisted of 14,969 individuals nested in 1047 neighborhoods created with an automated redistricting algorithm. We fitted multilevel structural equation mediation models and used a Monte Carlo simulation method to estimate confidence intervals for the indirect effects. NSES was positively associated with mental health. Neighborhood trust significantly mediated this relationship, accounting for 34% of the association after controlling for other mediators. These results indicate that higher levels of mental health in more affluent neighborhoods are partially explained by higher levels of trust. Improving neighborhood trust could mitigate sociogeographic inequalities in mental health.

ANALYSIS ON THE CHANGES OF WOMEN'S ROLE EMOTION AND BEHAVIOR IN VARIOUS SOCIAL ACTIVITIES IN THE MING AND QING DYNASTIES

BackgroundIn ancient China, especially in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, there are a large number of historical materials about festival activities. However, related works mainly describe festival activities from the perspective of men, rarely record women's festival activities, and the content is very scattered. This not only increases the difficulty of women's festival research, but also the main reason for the lack of relevant research results. Therefore, this paper also studies the changes of women's emotional behavior in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.Research Objects and MethodsBased on the local chronicles and festival works in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, this study systematically combs the tracks of women in various festival activities. Link their roles as believers, pilgrims, organizers, sponsors and tourists to their family and social roles. From the perspective of role psychology, this paper analyzes the relationship between the two roles and the main reasons for women's active participation in festival activities. A coping style scale was developed. We analyzed the correlation between the role emotional behavior and the trajectory of women's festival activities.ResultsFulfilling family responsibilities is the main psychological motivation and important content of women's participation in festival activities, and it is also a reasonable excuse for them to carry out sightseeing activities; The practice of participating in festivals as workers reflects women's expectations of more business income to meet economic needs; As believers and tourists, participating in festival activities is the embodiment of their role socialization, reflecting their enthusiasm and social needs to enter the broad social stage. It has the nature of personality liberation, which shows that women have broken through the gender restrictions of traditional society to a certain extent. According to the data of way scale, this study found that women's psychological quality was significantly positively correlated with cognitive reappraisal and negatively correlated with expression inhibition; Researchers believe that the development of metacognition is the basis for the development of women's emotion regulation strategies, and psychological quality is composed of cognitive quality, personality quality and adaptability. The core of cognitive quality is metacognition. In addition, the adaptability of psychological quality also includes emotional adaptation, which is closely related to emotional regulation strategies. Therefore, psychological quality is closely related to emotion regulation strategies. This study also verified that cognitive reappraisal was significantly negatively correlated with negative indicators of mental health, while expression inhibition was significantly positively correlated with negative indicators of mental health.ConclusionThe worship of God in traditional society and the role of women as family and social workers provide high sounding reasons for them to participate in festival social activities. After the mid Ming Dynasty, the development of commercial economy and the rise of civil society promoted the opening of society and the diversification of values. Compared with the narrow social space in other fields, the social activity space of women's festivals is becoming larger and larger. Their roles in festival activities, such as believers, pilgrims, organizers, sponsors and tourists, are closely related to their social roles. Their devotion and enthusiasm to festival activities are also closely related to their social and psychological needs and expectations. The nature of social roles is different, and the motivation and content of women's participation in festival activities are also different. It can also help contemporary Chinese society analyze the three special factors of female attention, cognitive attention and physical attention. In the verification of the relationship part, the hypothesis is valid, the relationship interest plays an intermediary role in service encounter and customer voluntary performance, and the multi cluster model is also homogeneous and stable. At the same time, in this process, taking the two dimensions of emotional regulation as the mediating variable, psychological quality as the independent variable and various indicators of mental health as the dependent variable, the mediating model a (cognitive reappraisal) and model B (expression inhibition) were established. Each variable is packaged for convenient analysis, the packaging strategy is factor analysis, and the three special factors of psychological quality are three packages of psychological quality. Trait anxiety, depression, loneliness, cognitive reappraisal and expression inhibition were snake shaped according to the load of factor analysis, forming three packages respectively. The fitting index standard of mediation model is: cfitli is greater than 0.90, RM sea is less than 0.08 and SRMR is less than 0.05. The fitting results of model a and model B are as follows: model a: x2 = 175.21, DF = 23, CFI = 0.97, TLI = 0.96, RMSEA = 0.07; Model B: x2 = 507.46, DF = 79, CFI = 0.97, TLI = 0.96, RMSEA = 0.06. The fitting indexes in model a and model B meet the standard. The mediating effect of cognitive reappraisal and expression inhibition between psychological quality and various negative indicators of mental health is significant. The bootstrap test shows (see Table 3): in model a, only cognitive reappraisal has a significant mediating effect between psychological quality and loneliness, while in model B, expression inhibition has a significant mediating effect between psychological quality and trait anxiety, depression and loneliness. In model a, the indirect effect of cognitive reappraisal on psychological quality and loneliness accounted for 6.5% of the total effect. In model B, the indirect effects accounted for 2.3%, 5.1% and 7.8% of the total effects respectively. Irrational design thinking refers to the way of thinking of art design, which deliberately breaks the rationality of thinking and makes the design interesting. The applied teaching mode of applying artistic thinking to the actual market work should be based on the actual working process of the enterprise. The project work simulation teaching combines the requirements of educational psychology for students' progressive knowledge with the open knowledge points of art to cultivate technical application-oriented talents with innovative design thinking.ConclusionAs a form of thinking, irrational design thinking is closely related to fashion design. People can inspire and promote each other with different ways of thinking, which is the necessary thinking quality of innovative talents. We can fully understand the role of irrational thinking in garment fabric design and consciously strengthen the cultivation of irrational thinking ability, which can not only further improve the knowledge structure and broaden thinking, but also fully release the spirit of innovation and improve learning ability. In short, we should give full play to the important role of irrational factors in design elements, actively pay attention to the changes of students' psychological emotion and behavior, the changes of students' ability, the impact of students' psychological emotion and behavior on classroom learning effect and healthy behavior, and be good builders, managers, coordinators and collaborators of design methods. The Impact of Gender Identity Stigma and Mental Health on HIV Treatment Among Transgender Women in Argentina

In Argentina, HIV prevalence in transgender women (TGW) is high while engagement in HIV treatment is low due to multiple factors: gender identity stigma (GIS), mental health problems (e.g., depressive symptoms) and substance use. This study examined the impact of these factors on HIV treatment uptake among TGW in Argentina. A sample of 79 TGW “on” and “off” treatment completed questionnaires to assess GIS, depressive symptoms (CES-D), alcohol (AUDIT) and drug use (DAST-10), suicidal ideation, HIV-related stigma (HIV Stigma Scale) and support from family. From them, 36.7% met criteria for “off” HIV treatment; 49.4%, for significant depressive symptoms; 53.2%, for hazardous alcohol use; and 29.7%, for problems related to drug use. GIS was positively associated with depressive symptoms and HIV-related stigma, both in TGW “on” and “off” treatment, and with alcohol and drug use, only in the last group. In the multivariable model, only experiences of GIS from the police were negatively associated with being “on” treatment, whereas GIS in workplaces (excluding sex work venues) were associated with increased odds of being “on” treatment. GIS, specifically from the police, has a far-reaching impact on the physical and emotional health of TGW living with HIV in Argentina, as it is associated with negative mental health indicators, substance use and suboptimal HIV care uptake.

The Upshot of the SARS-CoV-2 Pandemic on Nursing Assistants: Evaluating Mental Health Indicators in Huelva.

Healthcare professionals who work in front-line situations are among those under the highest risk of presenting negative mental health indicators. We sought to assess the prevalence of low personal realization, emotional exhaustion, and depersonalization as well as probable non-psychotic psychiatric pathologies during the pandemic in nursing assistants in the city of Huelva (Spain), and to study the association between these mental health indicators and sociodemographic and professional variables. A cross-sectional descriptive investigation with a quantitative approach was used. A representative sample of these professionals, consisting of 29 men and 284 women, completed the GHQ-12 questionnaire, including sociodemographic data and the MBI-HSS questionnaire, collecting information on situations of contact with SARS-CoV-2. Data analysis was conducted, and correlations were established. We found that emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and probable non-psychotic, psychiatric pathologies were related to contact with SARS-CoV-2. Moreover, personal realization, depersonalization and emotional exhaustion were related to just gender. We conclude that nursing assistants from public hospitals in the city of Huelva who had contact with patients with SARS-CoV-2 in the workplace, showed poor mental health indicators than those who did not come into contact with infected individuals.
